Blas Aritza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Carrascal in the 7th minute of the match. Blas Aritza was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jorge Carrascal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Vânderson Saa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Vistruario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Barcellos Mineiro FC defense, Alejandro Vistruario kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vânderson Saa. The Barcellos Mineiro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vânderson Saa should have stopped the shot. Vânderson Saa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kip William in the 27th minute of the match. La Acade were furious when Boris Gustavsson was red carded, 29 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 38th minute Jorge Carrascal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Aritza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blas Aritza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Carrascal in the 40th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Albano Abadia was the one to do the kick off. Albano Abadia hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Vânderson Saa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Barcellos Mineiro FC from getting a goal against them. 68 minutes into the match, La Acade's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Carrascal came free, but Blas Aritza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radul Kokalov in the 72nd minute of play forced La Acade's goalkeeper Blas Aritza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blas Aritza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celsinho Corrêa in the 73rd minute of play. After 83rd play minutes Natã de Medeiros shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Vânderson Saa and just under the crossbar into goal. La Acade's Ciro Cortez was substituted for Albano Abadia. Barcellos Mineiro FC made a substitution. Dale Dolar replaced Jorge Carrascal. Ciro Cortez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Vânderson Saa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciro Cortez in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vânderson Saa saved Barcellos Mineiro FC from getting behind. Vânderson Saa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Cortez in the 93rd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Cortez came free, but Vânderson Saa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute La Acade were awarded a corner. Teófilo Amaro went to the cornerflag to take it. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
