Kai-Uwe Bartek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Grealish, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomé Azevedo in the 7th minute of play forced FC Žalia Giria's goalkeeper Adolfo Carrizo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Saúl Gentiletti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saúl Gentiletti in the 19th minute of play forced BiBa's goalkeeper Kai-Uwe Bartek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kai-Uwe Bartek was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Saúl Gentiletti capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Saúl Gentiletti really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 24 played minutes BiBa got a freekick which was hit by Porfirio Filare. If Saúl Gentiletti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Saúl Gentiletti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kai-Uwe Bartek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. In the 29th match minute, FC Žalia Giria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avram Lupoaia to maneuver through the defense. Adolfo Carrizo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juancho Bonachea in the 30th minute of the match. BiBa's Tomé Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomé Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Carrizo having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomé Azevedo was the one to do the kick off. Adolfo Carrizo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andre Seemayer in the 52nd minute of play. Tomé Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Adolfo Carrizo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BiBa. 59 minutes into the match, FC Žalia Giria's goal looked a bit too open when Juancho Bonachea came free, but Adolfo Carrizo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jack Grealish hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Adolfo Carrizo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juancho Bonachea, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 75th minute, BiBa's Juancho Bonachea dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 83rd minute, Vytautas Petkus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Kohn got free with Adolfo Carrizo in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 87th minute Densill 李天剑 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Carrizo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kai-Uwe Bartek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Grealish, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the FC Žalia Giria defense, Tomé Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adolfo Carrizo. The FC Žalia Giria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adolfo Carrizo should have stopped the shot.
