Patrick Armstrong didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enéas Carneiro went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In a very dangerous position, a player in ManagerZone Crew fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! In the 15th minute Gernando Proença shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Armstrong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Danone CC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Oséas Chaves hit a great ball. Danone CC's Chico Albuquerque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Våleman in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, ManagerZone Crew's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Gol came free, but Patrick Armstrong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Dário Mesquita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Danone CC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The supporters of ManagerZone Crew booed when Danone CC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Eduardo de Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chico Albuquerque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Linkhorst in the 44th minute of the match. Samuel McQuarrie's late challenge caught a ManagerZone Crew's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuel McQuarrie helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th minute, Samuel McQuarrie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter Linkhorst got free with Chico Albuquerque in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enéas Carneiro to make the kick off. When Danone CC's Edmundo Gol, in the 51st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Danone CC. After 53 played minutes ManagerZone Crew got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Sjöstrand. 56 minutes into the match, Danone CC's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Våleman came free, but Chico Albuquerque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chico Albuquerque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Våleman in the 59th minute of play. If Peter Linkhorst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, Danone CC's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Linkhorst came free, but Chico Albuquerque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Danone CC defense, Peter Linkhorst kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chico Albuquerque. The Danone CC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chico Albuquerque should have stopped the shot. After 75 played minutes Danone CC got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Gol. Edmundo Gol kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Danone CC's Gernando Proença got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dário Mesquita hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Dário Mesquita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anderson Schulle was shown his second yellow card after 90 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to ManagerZone Crew getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Anderson Schulle hit a great ball. In the 91st match minute, Danone CC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel McQuarrie to maneuver through the defense. Chico Albuquerque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Linkhorst in the 93rd minute of play. Chants of Danone CC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as ManagerZone Crew had held the ball for most of the match.
