A well done corner resulted in Zdzislaw Radzyminski drilling the ball in to score 2-0 behind Fotbal Club Vaslui's goalkeeper. After some careless play in the Kickers United defense, Traian Traian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cederik Huts. The Kickers United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cederik Huts should have stopped the shot. 24 minutes into the match, Traian Traian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cederik Huts. Kickers United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Traian Traian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 26 minutes into the match, Traian Traian notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Kickers United's Cederik Huts. Cederik Huts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 30 minutes into the match, Kickers United's goal looked a bit too open when Traian Traian came free, but Cederik Huts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Traian Traian in the 34th minute of play forced Kickers United's goalkeeper Cederik Huts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Traian Traian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cederik Huts was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Cederik Huts came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Fotbal Club Vaslui's Traian Traian. But to his dismay, Traian Traian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. Teodor Huștiu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 47 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of Fotbal Club Vaslui:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kickers United:s goal. Disappointed in the 3-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dylan Verhaert was the one to do the kick off. Andrei Oloieru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Maquiano in the 55th minute of play. Kickers United's Cederik Huts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Kickers United from getting a goal against them. Visti Hjelmstoft came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cederik Huts could save by the left post. Cederik Huts was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Visti Hjelmstoft capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Visti Hjelmstoft really showed his touch with that goal: 3-6. In the 74th minute of the match, Traian Traian tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cederik Huts saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Fotbal Club Vaslui getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Visti Hjelmstoft hit a great ball. Kickers United made a substitution. Toon Adriaensens replaced Antonio Netels. After 79 played minutes Fotbal Club Vaslui got a freekick which was hit by Visti Hjelmstoft. Cederik Huts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Traian Traian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
