Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fernando Morientes kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, FC Tarragona 2006's Alvito Cabanela got a free kick in the 7th minute. After 8 played minutes FC Tarragona 2006 got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Mosquera. Steffen Gimlinge might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Domingo Colsa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Steffen Gimlinge ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Tarragona 2006's Fernando Morientes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arnoud de Pelsmakere. That made the score 1-0 after 18 minutes of play. Fernando Morientes might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnoud de Pelsmakere. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Morientes ran back to his position shaking his head. 22 minutes into the match, Club Universidad Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Morientes came free, but Arnoud de Pelsmakere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Morientes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnoud de Pelsmakere having to make a save. 27 minutes into the match, Club Universidad Nacional's goalkeeper Arnoud de Pelsmakere had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Morientes. After 30 minutes of play, Club Universidad Nacional's Steffen Gimlinge made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Domingo Colsa was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 32nd minute, Steffen Gimlinge left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Universidad Nacional fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. When Fernando Morientes came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the FC Tarragona 2006 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Morientes couldn't finish the play. Fernando Morientes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnoud de Pelsmakere having to make a save. Arnoud de Pelsmakere made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Fernando Morientes sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Mosquera kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Steffen Gimlinge stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Domingo Colsa was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Steffen Gimlinge capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Steffen Gimlinge really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. 56 minutes into the match, Club Universidad Nacional's Steffen Gimlinge sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Domingo Colsa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fernando Morientes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Arnoud de Pelsmakere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Universidad Nacional made a substitution. Feliciano Frans replaced Steffen Gimlinge. FC Tarragona 2006's Quirze Vera was substituted for Moncho Vicente. In the 72nd minute of the game Aybar Topay made a throw-in which Ansu Fatić played forward. Domingo Colsa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feliciano Frans's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. In the 82nd minute, Feliciano Frans reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Domingo Colsa. The goal made the score 1-4. Arnoud de Pelsmakere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ansu Fatić, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 91st match minute, Club Universidad Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Solo to maneuver through the defense. Arnoud de Pelsmakere came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Tarragona 2006's Ansu Fatić. But to his dismay, Ansu Fatić quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Club Universidad Nacional's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
