After a rather tough play, Lunar Park's Esteban Alvarado got a free kick in the 8th minute. After some careless play in the RockCity F.C. defense, Fabien Canu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cagua Seoane. The RockCity F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cagua Seoane should have stopped the shot. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lunar Park's goalkeeper Cedric Van Langhendoncx, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alberto Spencer took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cedric Van Langhendoncx. Cedric Van Langhendoncx dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The supporters of RockCity F.C. booed when Lunar Park was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Alvarado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cedric Van Langhendoncx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Spencer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Lunar Park made a substitution. Yazid Larnicol replaced Dave Rebours. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alberto Spencer to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Fabien Canu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cagua Seoane was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. After having played for 59 minutes, Alberto Spencer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cedric Van Langhendoncx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesper Wennerquist in the 71st minute of play. Esteban Alvarado tried in the game's 73rd match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Cedric Van Langhendoncx. An annoying self made goal, 1-2. RockCity F.C.'s Damián Diaz was substituted for Fabian Reborio. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind RockCity F.C.'s goalkeeper Cagua Seoane, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 87th minute, RockCity F.C.'s Angelo Di Crescenzo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. If Angelo Di Crescenzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lunar Park's Esteban Alvarado got his second yellow card of the match in the 91st minute. The referee ordered Esteban Alvarado off the ground. Esteban Alvarado hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Lunar Park's Cedric Van Langhendoncx got control of the ball when Angelo Di Crescenzo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelo Di Crescenzo in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cedric Van Langhendoncx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. RockCity F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
