Niculae Biriș made in the 9th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Alex Macedo. 14 minutes into the match, Korona Kielce's goalkeeper Raimo Ülend had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kraig Fred. Kraig Fred's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raimo Ülend read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Estudiantes de América's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Maximo Dei in the 18th minute. The corner ended in Douglas Byström almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Korona Kielce's Raimo Ülend did a great save. Korona Kielce's Raimo Ülend played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Ruisko in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Korona Kielce's goalkeeper Raimo Ülend had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kraig Fred. Kraig Fred received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Raimo Ülend tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Prospero Gabirel made in the 32nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Flavio Iraunkor immediately put the ball in play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alex Macedo was the one to do the kick off. Marcos Ranolfo made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Alex Macedo sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Estudiantes de América's Marcos Ranolfo got control of the ball when Alex Macedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 58th minute, Maximo Dei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Estudiantes de América's Traian Blăniță was substituted for Cornelio Ruisko. Estudiantes de América's Concetto Trasatti was substituted for Kraig Fred. After 59 played minutes Estudiantes de América got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Dei. Raimo Ülend showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Concetto Trasatti, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Concetto Trasatti in the 71st minute of play forced Korona Kielce's goalkeeper Raimo Ülend to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raimo Ülend made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Concetto Trasatti in the 75th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Luciano Sidoro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Korona Kielce made a substitution. Ivar Lilleeng replaced Nicolae Dobrin. Korona Kielce made a substitution. Art 许褚 replaced Ray Atkins. Korona Kielce made a substitution. Seb Hedges replaced Alex Macedo. Concetto Trasatti took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raimo Ülend. Raimo Ülend dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 90 minutes into the match, Korona Kielce's goal looked a bit too open when Concetto Trasatti came free, but Raimo Ülend reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raimo Ülend showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Concetto Trasatti, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. If Concetto Trasatti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Korona Kielce's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
