In the 18th minute, Zheng Yang Zhen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ΠΑΟΚ FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 21st minute of the match Björn Kamp sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but John Osomo skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Zheng Yang Zhen managed to get in a good position for a shot. ΠΑΟΚ FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zheng Yang Zhen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. John Osomo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. John Osomo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petros Mirtsos in the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute ΠΑΟΚ FC were awarded a corner. Petros Mirtsos went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on ΠΑΟΚ FC's corner Petros Mirtsos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and John Osomo quite easily take care of the ball. John Osomo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zheng Yang Zhen in the 31st minute of play. In the 37th minute, Zheng Yang Zhen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Caio Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Theofanis Klotsobounidas hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Frederik Cueli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the game, Petros Mirtsos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ΠΑΟΚ FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ the free kick. In the 45th minute, Petros Mirtsos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ture Rosendahl came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ture Rosendahl couldn't finish the play.

62 minutes into the match, PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Zheng Yang Zhen came free, but John Osomo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Akakios Kazantzidiss short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got John Osomo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's John Osomo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Oso in the 92nd minute of play.
