Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 1948 MKS's Torrey Molloy started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Cascadia United's Miguel Ángel Benito got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute, Aban McBjarton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Torrey Molloy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torrey Molloy in the 15th minute of play forced Cascadia United's goalkeeper Leonel Rocco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cascadia United's Leonel Rocco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aban McBjarton in the 20th minute of play. Leonel Rocco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torrey Molloy, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Abel Neron charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Neron the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abel Neron hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute of the match Ersin Uyguralp shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leonel Rocco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 1948 MKS's Torrey Molloy managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rene Pueblo in the 30 minute of the game. Leonel Rocco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aban McBjarton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torrey Molloy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to 1948 MKS getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Rudy Lukas hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Miguel Ángel Benito made the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute Aban McBjarton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Rocco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, Torrey Molloy recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leonel Rocco. Torrey Molloy showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. 66 minutes into the match, Miguel Ángel Benito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ter Stegen. 1948 MKS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miguel Ángel Benito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 1948 MKS made a substitution. Rigan Frankson replaced Torrey Molloy. In the 70thth minute of the game Miguel Ángel Benito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 1948 MKS's Ter Stegen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Miguel Ángel Benito sped through 1948 MKS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ter Stegen. After 80 played minutes Cascadia United got a freekick which was hit by Justino Sansone. In the 86th minute, Miguel Ángel Benito made a precise shot to the right of Ter Stegen. 1948 MKS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. After 89 minutes, Ersin Uyguralp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 1948 MKS and the Cascadia United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute, Ersin Uyguralp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Ángel Benito in the 93rd minute of play forced 1948 MKS's goalkeeper Ter Stegen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the 1948 MKS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cascadia United.
