After 3 minutes, Everardo Onofre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Reconquistense FC and the Carrada d´Ansiedade FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Reconquistense FC's zone, Belchior Orella stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Pelagius came out of the goal and Belchior Orella tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Carrada d´Ansiedade FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Hélio Setúbal hit a great ball. Márcio Moura came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Reconquistense FC's Alvaro Santana. But to his dismay, Alvaro Santana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Anacleto Norino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Márcio Moura made a huge save. Francisco Pelagius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Gama, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Gama in the 11th minute of play forced Reconquistense FC's goalkeeper Francisco Pelagius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carrada d´Ansiedade FC were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Reconquistense FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Belchior Orella took the corner. The corner ended in Carlos Poças almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Reconquistense FC's Francisco Pelagius did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Poças in the 13th minute of play forced Reconquistense FC's goalkeeper Francisco Pelagius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hélio Setúbal's late challenge caught a Reconquistense FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hélio Setúbal helped the player get up and apologised. Hélio Setúbal kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After 22 played minutes, Reconquistense FC's Prudencio Raulo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Márcio Moura came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Reconquistense FC reached it. In the 27th minute, Afonso Vilaverde ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francisco Pelagius was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Lino Madeo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Márcio Moura made a huge save. Afonso Vilaverde might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Pelagius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Afonso Vilaverde ran back to his position shaking his head. Márcio Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prudencio Raulo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41 minutes of play, Carrada d´Ansiedade FC's Afonso Vilaverde made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Pelagius was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 45th minute, Moisés Antas made a precise shot to the right of Francisco Pelagius. Reconquistense FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. The Reconquistense FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Carrada d´Ansiedade FC were winning 1-4.
Afonso Vilaverde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 53rd minute Afonso Vilaverde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Pelagius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, Carlos Poças hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Márcio Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prudencio Raulo, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute, Afonso Vilaverde left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carrada d´Ansiedade FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Moisés Antas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carrada d´Ansiedade FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Belchior Orella in the 69th minute. After taking down the ball on Carrada d´Ansiedade FC's corner Belchior Orella fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Francisco Pelagius quite easily take care of the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Afonso Vilaverde notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Reconquistense FC's Francisco Pelagius. Francisco Pelagius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 82nd minute, Moisés Antas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francisco Pelagius was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-8. In the 87th minute Afonso Vilaverde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Pelagius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Belchior Orella almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Reconquistense FC's Francisco Pelagius did a great save. With a little luck, Reconquistense FC's Francisco Pelagius got control of the ball when Afonso Vilaverde tried to sneak it across the goal line. Francisco Pelagius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Vilaverde, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Carrada d´Ansiedade FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
