Aurelio Di Lullo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink in the 5th minute of play. Aurelio Di Lullo came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Älta BK's Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink. But to his dismay, Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Älta BK's Juan Abarca managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Arturo Verdone in the 15 minute of the game. 19 minutes into the game, Älta BK's Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurelio Di Lullo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aurelio Di Lullo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurelio Di Lullo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurelio Di Lullo. Aurelio Di Lullo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tayyip Talha during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Älta BK's Tayyip Talha got a free kick in the 37th minute. After 39 played minutes, Valdieri's Dennis Berardo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper David Trulsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Valdieri reached it. Arturo Verdone hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Aurelio Di Lullo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fan Nan Hong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fan Nan Hong scored 0-6 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aurelio Di Lullo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When John de Jong fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Älta BK's protests and gave John de Jong a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th match minute, Älta BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John de Jong to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Älta BK were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fan Nan Hong to strike the kick off in the second half. Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Aurelio Di Lullo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 55th minute of the game Arturo Verdone made a throw-in which Anthony Briançon played forward. With a little luck, Valdieri's Aurelio Di Lullo got control of the ball when Fan Nan Hong tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurelio Di Lullo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 69 minutes into the match, Valdieri's goalkeeper Aurelio Di Lullo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink. When Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Älta BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink couldn't finish the play. Aurelio Di Lullo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fan Nan Hong in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the game, Alfons Gregersson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aurelio Di Lullo. Alfons Gregersson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. The audience was convinced that Alfons Gregersson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aurelio Di Lullo was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. In the 80th match minute, Valdieri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anfilogino Di Santo to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, one of Valdieri:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Valdieri. Aurelio Di Lullo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fan Nan Hong in the 90th minute of play. With a little luck, Valdieri's Aurelio Di Lullo got control of the ball when Alfons Gregersson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfons Gregersson might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aurelio Di Lullo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfons Gregersson ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Valdieri's Aurelio Di Lullo got control of the ball when Alfons Gregersson tried to sneak it across the goal line.
When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Älta BK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
