Jonathan Joestar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovanni Cordeiro in the 12th minute of play. A collision led to Formentera getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Blas Estevez hit a great ball. Geovanni Cordeiro's late challenge caught a Formentera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geovanni Cordeiro helped the player get up and apologised. Geovanni Cordeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Edmundo Catarinense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Blas Estevez's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Wolf's Edmundo Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Maidana in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Benvide in the 37th minute of play forced Wolf's goalkeeper Edmundo Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmundo Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Estevez in the 40th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the game, Formentera's Blas Estevez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edmundo Catarinense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilfredo Benvide was the one to do the kick off. Edmundo Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Estevez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Blas Estevez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 64 played minutes Wolf got a freekick which was hit by Germano Gomes. 65 minutes into the match, Wolf's goalkeeper Edmundo Catarinense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amador Modestio. Edmundo Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Benvide in the 67th minute of play. Valentin Gomez took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Joestar. Jonathan Joestar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Jonathan Joestar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovanni Cordeiro in the 73rd minute of the match. Blas Estevez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 76 played minutes Formentera got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Maidana. If Blas Estevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Joestar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Gomez in the 80th minute of play. The supporters of Formentera booed when Wolf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Toscano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, Wolf's Elói Moraes seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Elói Moraes the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Wolf protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Elói Moraes had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wolf fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! Wilfredo Benvide hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 95th match minute, Formentera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elberg Monte to maneuver through the defense.

The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Formentera walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
