Daniel Anaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Segio, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. In the 12th match minute, Lobo Guará was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cain Velasquez to maneuver through the defense. Fetih Avcu hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute of the match Willian Caca-Rato sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but George Buturugã skillfully saved the ball. Daniel Anaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sulo Montaña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. LOI's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ahmet Hamdi Ortan in the 19th minute. Özgür Özbay was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 22 minutes into the match, Ezequiel Pereira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of George Buturugã. LOI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ezequiel Pereira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With a little luck, Lobo Guará's Daniel Anaya got control of the ball when Özgür Özbay tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Glauco Tasso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lobo Guará's supporters rose to their feet, but Glauco Tasso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. George Buturugã breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eriberto Segio hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After 45 played minutes LOI got a freekick which was hit by Sulo Montaña. LOI's George Buturugã played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Pereira in the 47th minute of play. The LOI players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lobo Guará were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sulo Montaña to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Özgür Özbay sped through Lobo Guará's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Daniel Anaya. 64 minutes into the match, Sulo Montaña notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Lobo Guará's Daniel Anaya. Daniel Anaya was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 68th match minute, LOI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Akif Cerme to maneuver through the defense. Lobo Guará made a substitution. King Koopa replaced Willian Caca-Rato. In the 70th match minute, LOI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Akif Cerme to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Anaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sulo Montaña in the 74th minute of play. Özgür Özbay hit a great ball. George Buturugã made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciro de Moraes in the 86th minute. Ciro de Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. George Buturugã tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Lobo Guará's zone, Özgür Özbay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Anaya came out of the goal and Özgür Özbay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
