In the 42nd minute Manfred Konradsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadej Pogačar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Costin Moisil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Decathlon Dudes's supporters rose to their feet, but Costin Moisil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. George Wiklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The supporters of Decathlon Dudes booed when Lemel SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ettore Petroni didn't get a good kick on the ball. George Wiklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrik Larsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. George Wiklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Larsson in the 56th minute of the match. Jacek Furlit made in the 77th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Decathlon Dudes's Silvester Rambo. After 79 minutes of play, Decathlon Dudes's Henrik Larsson made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. George Wiklund was left in no man's land by his defense there! George Wiklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Larsson in the 82nd minute of play. Henrik Larsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dennis Bergkamp in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tadej Pogačar saved Decathlon Dudes from getting behind. Dennis Bergkamp blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tadej Pogačar having to make a save. Tadej Pogačar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manfred Konradsson in the 94th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dennis Bergkamp in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tadej Pogačar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Decathlon Dudes's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
