After taking down the ball on FC Draconia's corner Adrià Vassaras fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gigel Tilea quite easily take care of the ball. Benny Hill could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Gigel Tilea made a huge save. In the 28th minute of the match FC Draconia got a corner. Academia Rio's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomislav Mikalauskas ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 31st minute Johny Oltean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerome Ngake saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Academia Rio's goal looked a bit too open when Benny Hill came free, but Gigel Tilea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gigel Tilea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benny Hill, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Benny Hill sped through Academia Rio's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gigel Tilea. The supporters of FC Draconia booed when Academia Rio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moisés Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a long run with the ball, Dumitru Pantelimon did a trick in the 94th minute in front of FC Draconia's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 2-1. An impressive performance by Academia Rio's Dumitru Pantelimon! For all the effort they put into the match, the Academia Rio players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Draconia.
