Alexander Hegg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabiofs's Alexander Hegg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clayton Gol in the 77th minute of play. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fabiofs's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alberto Moraes was slow to take the kick. During this time Brazil's players had a chance to rest. Clayton Gol scored 3-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexander Hegg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Fabiofs getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Daniel Regis hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clayton Gol in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexander Hegg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Denílson Tepedino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Fabiofs's goal looked a bit too open when Denílson Tepedino came free, but Alexander Hegg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Brazil had won after a very even match.
