Fryderyk Bycofski kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 8 minutes into the game, Atlético da Colina's Justo Lukach nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ryszard Wnukowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Rafael Martins made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Lukasz Bronder sent off a good shot on target. Ryszard Wnukowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Justo Lukach's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Waldir Andrade was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 20 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Atlético da Colina:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Arsenal:s goal. When the match had been going on for 22 minutes, Arsenal's Ni Qian Hai got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Rafael Martins. Ryszard Wnukowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justo Lukach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael Martins made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lukasz Bronder in the 27th minute. Czeslaw Jaktorowo hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Rafael Martins made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Cezary Ostrowski sent off a good shot on target. After 33 played minutes Atlético da Colina got a freekick which was hit by Tom Demange. Rafael Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giotis Kourmouzis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cezary Ostrowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Rafael Martins made a huge save. In the 39th minute, Justo Lukach ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ryszard Wnukowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. David Paranaense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Giotis Kourmouzis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Fryderyk Bycofski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, Arsenal's goal looked a bit too open when Justo Lukach came free, but Ryszard Wnukowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute Giotis Kourmouzis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Martins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético da Colina's zone, Lukasz Bronder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Martins came out of the goal and Lukasz Bronder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atlético da Colina made a substitution. Diego Souza replaced Justo Lukach. Rafael Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukasz Bronder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diego Souza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ryszard Wnukowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Atlético da Colina's goal looked a bit too open when Lukasz Bronder came free, but Rafael Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Fernando Pacheco fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético da Colina's protests and gave Fernando Pacheco a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Arsenal booed when Atlético da Colina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Pacheco didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atlético da Colina's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ni Qian Hai was slow to take the kick. During this time Arsenal's players had a chance to rest. Arsenal's Ni Qian Hai was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rafael Martins in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some careless play in the Atlético da Colina defense, Lukasz Bronder kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafael Martins. The Atlético da Colina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafael Martins should have stopped the shot. In the 84th minute, Fryderyk Bycofski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86thth minute of the game Diego Souza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arsenal's Ryszard Wnukowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Diego Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Arsenal's Ni Qian Hai tried to score from far away in the 89th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Diego Souza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ryszard Wnukowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. After 94 minutes Arsenal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ref Bunsoy who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Atlético da Colina's corner Ref Bunsoy fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ryszard Wnukowski quite easily take care of the ball. Atlético da Colina were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Arsenal's much stronger midfield.
