The throw-in from Neno Lehchanski in the 5th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Edu Dum. Neno Lehchanski made in the 6th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Richie Craig however managed to control. 10 minutes into the match, Cumhur Günay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serafin Eate. Club Atletico Chusca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cumhur Günay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Rogério Ceni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lauro Moreira in the 13th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes Club Atletico Chusca got a freekick which was hit by Richie Craig. After 21 minutes of play, Club Atletico Chusca's Lauro Moreira made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rogério Ceni was left in no man's land by his defense there! Serafin Eate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cumhur Günay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th match minute, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fan Yang Hong to maneuver through the defense. Serafin Eate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso da Cunha in the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Chusca's goal looked a bit too open when Cumhur Günay came free, but Serafin Eate reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serafin Eate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cumhur Günay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Richie Craig made in the 38th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Folke Överman however managed to control. Rogério Ceni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lauro Moreira went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 45th minute of the match Eulalio Jago sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Serafin Eate skillfully saved the ball. Fan Yang Hong kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Afonso da Cunha to make the kick off. Serafin Eate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso da Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Afonso da Cunha in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serafin Eate prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS made a substitution. Steve Harris replaced Luca Savini. Club Atletico Chusca's Alberto Confesor was substituted for Herman Arvidsson. 74 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Chusca's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso da Cunha came free, but Serafin Eate reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Many of Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS may have spent more time on the ball, but Club Atletico Chusca were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
