After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Henric Villaquiran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Picanya FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Henric Villaquiran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flint Moreland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute, Stacey Banning reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Naldo Roig. The goal made the score 1-0. River tu grato nombre's Fedele Mussi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ugaitz Silva in the 32 minute of the game. Flint Moreland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henric Villaquiran, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Flint Moreland stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaskon Gimeno's shot from short distance in the 46th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stacey Banning to strike the kick off in the second half. River tu grato nombre's Flint Moreland proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save River tu grato nombre from getting a goal against them. Stacey Banning's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Naldo Roig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. If John Presley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Graig Bacon hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After 68 played minutes River tu grato nombre got a freekick which was hit by Graig Bacon. After 71 minutes Picanya FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was John Presley who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that John Presley got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Naldo Roig quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 72nd match minute, River tu grato nombre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Holder to maneuver through the defense. Gaskon Gimeno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flint Moreland having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Hori Aranzubia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77 played minutes Picanya FC got a freekick which was hit by Desiderio Elias. John Presley's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Naldo Roig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Picanya FC's Naldo Roig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bon Scott in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Picanya FC's Gaskon Gimeno got a free kick in the 85th minute. Bon Scott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91stth minute of the game Bon Scott who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Picanya FC's Naldo Roig was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bon Scott struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Naldo Roig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for River tu grato nombre. The River tu grato nombre support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
