It was Fermín Montes who took care of the corner kick. 8 minutes into the game, Chiquito Escalante was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zorros del Desierto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Memphis Grizzlies the free kick. After a rather tough play, Zorros del Desierto's Chiquito Escalante got a free kick in the 8th minute. Hugo Araya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Choupo-Moting in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Eric Choupo-Moting made a precise shot to the right of Hugo Araya. Zorros del Desierto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Hugo Araya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Spike Bond in the 17th minute. Eric Choupo-Moting took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugo Araya. Hugo Araya dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 25th minute Cristian Insaurralde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pat Zamora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Bastian San Juan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chiquito Escalante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Spike Bond kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 42ndth minute of the game Chiquito Escalante who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Memphis Grizzlies's Pat Zamora was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pat Zamora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Insaurralde in the 44th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Alfonso Parot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pat Zamora having to interfere. In the 53rd match minute, Memphis Grizzlies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddie Gettins to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Insaurralde's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Pat Zamora skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 57th minute, Eric Choupo-Moting got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zorros del Desierto made a substitution. Noé Saso replaced Fermín Montes. Zorros del Desierto's Liberto Aedo was substituted for Jorge-Luis Sivieri. Alfonso Parot hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute of the match Freddie Gettins shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hugo Araya showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Zorros del Desierto's Hugo Araya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Choupo-Moting in the 68th minute of play. Eric Choupo-Moting blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Araya having to make a save. In the 73rd match minute, Zorros del Desierto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Parot to maneuver through the defense. Memphis Grizzlies made a substitution. Ethan Smart replaced Eric Choupo-Moting. Zorros del Desierto's Hugo Araya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erling Haaland in the 76th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Ma Kun had to leave the field with a concussion. Chiquito Escalante kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Zorros del Desierto's Cristian Insaurralde got a free kick in the 79th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Noé Saso got free with Pat Zamora in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pat Zamora stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Noé Saso's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Nistor Hrean made in the 85th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Memphis Grizzlies's Spike Bond. After 88 minutes, Ethan Smart mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Memphis Grizzlies and the Zorros del Desierto players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Zorros del Desierto booed when Memphis Grizzlies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ethan Smart didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noé Saso in the 89th minute of play forced Memphis Grizzlies's goalkeeper Pat Zamora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Spike Bond's late challenge caught a Zorros del Desierto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Spike Bond helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Memphis Grizzlies getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Spike Bond hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Memphis Grizzlies had won after a very even match.
