With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petre Blajovici in the 2nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aykan İsmet saved FC Gladiators Milošová from getting behind. Damian Kornecki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aykan İsmet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. FC Gladiators Milošová's Aykan İsmet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petre Blajovici in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, FC Gladiators Milošová's Ibrahim Hanif nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Germano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. A collision led to FC Gladiators Milošová getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Viktor Samák hit a great ball. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Gladiators Milošová's goalkeeper Aykan İsmet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aykan İsmet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petre Blajovici in the 32nd minute of play. Nacho Kirkov hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petre Blajovici in the 40th minute of play forced FC Gladiators Milošová's goalkeeper Aykan İsmet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Yuriy Andronikov came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Крылья Советов fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yuriy Andronikov couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vinny Tusk was the one to do the kick off. Damian Kornecki's late challenge caught a FC Gladiators Milošová's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damian Kornecki helped the player get up and apologised. After 61 played minutes Крылья Советов got a freekick which was hit by Damian Kornecki. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Aykan İsmet successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
