Fabrício Antunes kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Ivar Gerdberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hortêncio Vieira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bertil Löfgren during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bertil Löfgren hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Hortêncio Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rutger Fanström in the 18th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Milan defense, Bertil Löfgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hortêncio Vieira. The Milan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hortêncio Vieira should have stopped the shot. Hortêncio Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dag Lange in the 30th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Rutger Fanström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hortêncio Vieira was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Joakim Ljungberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeu Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Renan de Almeida came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Joakim Ljungberg could save by the left post. Joakim Ljungberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amadeu Senna's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Alvar Ekberg kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Joakim Ljungberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgar Gaspar in the 48th minute. After the first half Tågarp FK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sven-Edvin Alén to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Edvin Alén in the 52nd minute of play forced Milan's goalkeeper Hortêncio Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Milan's Hortêncio Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Edvin Alén in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renan de Almeida in the 56th minute of play forced Tågarp FK's goalkeeper Joakim Ljungberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amadeu Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joakim Ljungberg having to interfere. Joakim Ljungberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renan de Almeida in the 59th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Tågarp FK's Sven-Edvin Alén dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Bertil Löfgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Hortêncio Vieira made a huge save. If Sven-Edvin Alén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Milan's Hortêncio Vieira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Milan from getting a goal against them. Joakim Ljungberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renan de Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Joakim Ljungberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeu Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 83 minutes, Renan de Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Milan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renan de Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hortêncio Vieira made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Rutger Fanström sent off a good shot on target. Renan de Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 93 played minutes Milan got a freekick which was hit by Igor Pimenta. Amadeu Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joakim Ljungberg having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tågarp FK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
