In the 10th minute Estevão Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Fuentes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Estevão Reis scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Santiago Fuentes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's Burak Orkan got a free kick in the 14th minute. Epifanio Leceta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Egun Zapico read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Epifanio Leceta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Egun Zapico came out and tried to block the shot, but Epifanio Leceta slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 16th minute. ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's Egun Zapico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Leceta in the 22nd minute of play. Epifanio Leceta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Egun Zapico came out and tried to block the shot, but Epifanio Leceta slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 25th minute. With a little luck, ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's Egun Zapico got control of the ball when Epifanio Leceta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Egun Zapico made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Epifanio Leceta sent off a good shot on target. ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Berart Moroño ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led ℄ΣᏩモ₦ፚ ℱ.Ȼ's Matxin Curro to fire away a dangerous shot which Egun Zapico despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Epifanio Leceta to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Epifanio Leceta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Matxin Curro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's Mehmet Hakkı Kuthan was substituted for Estevão Reis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Leceta in the 71st minute of play forced ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's goalkeeper Egun Zapico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santiago Fuentes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Burak Orkan in the 73rd minute. Epifanio Leceta might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Egun Zapico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Epifanio Leceta ran back to his position shaking his head. 75 minutes into the match, ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Leceta came free, but Egun Zapico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kara Melo kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the game, Mehmet Hakkı Kuthan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Santiago Fuentes. Mehmet Hakkı Kuthan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
