After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yıldıray Haliç stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Emrah Sururi in the 73rd minute of play forced Waffem Fc's goalkeeper Aldo Restu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eulalio Tonete came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sabri Tur could save by the left post. In the 80th minute, Justo Cordara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aldo Restu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yıldıray Haliç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Haşhaşşehir had won after a very even match.
