Millan Matas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cezmi Taşkınay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aarre Rautee could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Mondi Muslera made a huge save. Grzegorz Czapski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sorin Petruescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Mondi Muslera made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Aarre Rautee sent off a good shot on target. In the 46th minute, Celalettin Çalımbay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aarre Rautee made a kick off. Mondi Muslera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aarre Rautee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grzegorz Czapski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lütfi Kadrettin in the 63rd minute of the match. Hazım Resul kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Aarre Rautee ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mondi Muslera was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Juan-Ramón Verón took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Grzegorz Czapski. Grzegorz Czapski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Wittbach SSA had won after a very even match.
