Sidney Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Francisco Borges made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Olari Kabral sent off a good shot on target. Francisco Borges made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dido Gorolomov in the 6th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Giannis Tselikas notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Vila's Koit Vaikma. Koit Vaikma was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The long shot by Olari Kabral in the 11th minute really tested Francisco Borges's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Koit Vaikma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Olof Sjöberg in the 19th minute of play. With his leg Francisco Borges managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Vila's Dido Gorolomov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 28 minutes into the match, Bulldogs F.C's goalkeeper Francisco Borges had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olari Kabral. In the 29thth minute of the game Dido Gorolomov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bulldogs F.C's Francisco Borges was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 30 minutes Bulldogs F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Olari Kabral who took care of the corner kick. Dido Gorolomov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Koit Vaikma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giannis Tselikas, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 陈奕宽 kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Dido Gorolomov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bulldogs F.C's Francisco Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dido Gorolomov in the 40th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Vila's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Sampaio came free, but Koit Vaikma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sven-Olof Sjöberg made a kick off. Francisco Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dido Gorolomov in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute Olari Kabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vila's Rauno Koba was substituted for Yin Nan Feng. Francisco Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olari Kabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Georg Oher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bulldogs F.C's zone, Georg Oher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Borges came out of the goal and Georg Oher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th minute, Georg Oher made a precise shot to the right of Francisco Borges. Bulldogs F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. If Georg Oher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 81st minute, Lin Jun Xuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute of the match Akrisios Angavanakis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Koit Vaikma showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 84th minute, Bulldogs F.C's Alexandre Sampaio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Koit Vaikma. Koit Vaikma yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. In the 87th minute, 陈奕宽 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olari Kabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 91 minutes of play, Vila's Peep Raamets made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Borges was left in no man's land by his defense there! The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
