The goal made the score 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Salud y República's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Urtun came free, but Juan Carlos Suciu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Fuerza Amarilla's Daniel Alcubierre in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Alcubierre in the 19th minute of play forced Salud y República's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Suciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Sanchez Vagrande successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The Salud y República fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Carlos Suciu should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Alcubierre to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Salud y República's Iván Vila sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sanchez Vagrande narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juan Carlos Suciu made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Daniel Alcubierre sent off a good shot on target. Fuerza Amarilla's Daniel Alcubierre got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Urritz Nogueiras short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Juan Carlos Suciu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 67 minutes into the match, Fuerza Amarilla's goal looked a bit too open when Iván Vila came free, but Sanchez Vagrande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Carlos Suciu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vicente Vilas in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the game, Vicente Vilas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Juan Carlos Suciu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Alcubierre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Carlos Suciu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Erasmo Urtun who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Juan Carlos Suciu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Salud y República's Juan Carlos Suciu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Salud y República from getting a goal against them. In the 86th minute, Reyes No hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th play minute Urritz Nogueira came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Juan Carlos Suciu. 2-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Abdika Philip managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salud y República's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdika Philip was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sanchez Vagrande breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Salud y República's Juan Carlos Suciu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Salud y República from getting a goal against them. With his leg Juan Carlos Suciu managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Fuerza Amarilla's Urritz Nogueira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Salud y República supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Fuerza Amarilla's performance. The match ended with a win for Fuerza Amarilla.
