The corner ended in Jean-Pascal Rouge almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Deportivo Santiago's Iker Yashin did a great save. Angelo Melani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gernando Mangueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Santiago's goal looked a bit too open when Qiao Lei Quan came free, but Iker Yashin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelo Melani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ray Hayward in the 18th minute of play. Club Deportivo Santiago's Juan Regato shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 30th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Angelo Melani but with some difficulty. After 33 played minutes Girondins4Ever got a freekick which was hit by Fabrice Verin. Club Deportivo Santiago's Iker Yashin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorian Colle in the 36th minute of play. Angelo Melani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Liviano in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute Qiao Lei Quan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ray Hayward sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ray Hayward was the one to do the kick off. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Thorvald Egfjord sped through Girondins4Ever's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Angelo Melani. Angelo Melani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ray Hayward in the 55th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Juan Regato cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Angelo Melani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victoro Guillarte during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 62nd minute, Victoro Guillarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Santiago's goalkeeper Iker Yashin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dorian Colle. Iker Yashin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kamber Aydınoğlu's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Girondins4Ever's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Regato came free, but Angelo Melani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Girondins4Ever's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Juan Regato was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Deportivo Santiago's players had a chance to rest. A hard shot 84 in the game by Igor Thibault from a close distance when the talented Iker Yashin managed to make a qualified save. Club Deportivo Santiago's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Club Deportivo Santiago's zone, Kamber Aydınoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iker Yashin came out of the goal and Kamber Aydınoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angelo Melani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thorvald Egfjord in the 91st minute of play. Kamber Aydınoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Iker Yashin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Deportivo Santiago walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
