With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pietro Santos in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor Curea saved 1909 Tarnovia from getting behind. Prosper Vandamme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thomás Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerzy Grocholski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, FALCÕES VERDES's goal looked a bit too open when Prosper Vandamme came free, but Thomás Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute of the match 1909 Tarnovia got a corner. FALCÕES VERDES's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jerzy Grocholski ran over to the corner to take the kick. Victor Curea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pietro Santos in the 22nd minute of the match. Pietro Santos took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Curea. Victor Curea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerzy Grocholski in the 28th minute of play forced FALCÕES VERDES's goalkeeper Thomás Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when 1909 Tarnovia's Jerzy Grocholski fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pietro Santos was the one to do the kick off. After 73 played minutes, FALCÕES VERDES's Pietro Santos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Victor Curea came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FALCÕES VERDES reached it. FALCÕES VERDES made a substitution. Sílvio Luís Gerber replaced Lucjan Winograd. Ulryk Podolski got a throw-in 77 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Jakub Gondela. In the 80th minute Betinho Lenzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Curea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Betinho Lenzi got free with Victor Curea in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
