Koen Poels kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Flashdynamica's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Pumarejo came free, but Hendrik-Jan Krommert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marian Văduvescu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Koen Poels showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Steaua Pildesti's zone, Barry Zalm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marian Văduvescu came out of the goal and Barry Zalm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hendrik-Jan Krommert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Pumarejo in the 16th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Zygmunt Dunajski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hendrik-Jan Krommert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Steaua Pildesti's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Terry Doyle in the 22nd minute. The corner led FC Steaua Pildesti's Terry Doyle to fire away a dangerous shot which Hendrik-Jan Krommert despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Flashdynamica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Koen Poels to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvestre Pumarejo in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hendrik-Jan Krommert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 26 minutes into the match, Flashdynamica's goal looked a bit too open when Lucian Stere came free, but Hendrik-Jan Krommert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42ndth minute of the game Nicolae Barbu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flashdynamica's Hendrik-Jan Krommert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nicolae Barbu might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hendrik-Jan Krommert. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicolae Barbu ran back to his position shaking his head. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Barry Zalm to make the kick off. Hendrik-Jan Krommert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucian Stere in the 52nd minute. 55 minutes into the match, FC Steaua Pildesti's goal looked a bit too open when Barry Zalm came free, but Marian Văduvescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When FC Steaua Pildesti's Silvestre Pumarejo in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Xavi Simons replaced Michael Scott. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Flashdynamica's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Terry Doyle was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Steaua Pildesti's players had a chance to rest. The corner led FC Steaua Pildesti's Nicolae Barbu to fire away a dangerous shot which Hendrik-Jan Krommert despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Koen Poels went to the cornerflag to take it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucian Stere in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hendrik-Jan Krommert saved Flashdynamica from getting behind. Flashdynamica's Raymond Fleur was substituted for Koen Poels. In the 85th minute FC Steaua Pildesti were awarded a corner. Terry Doyle went to the cornerflag to take it. Terry Doyle made a great header on FC Steaua Pildesti's corner, it was just that Flashdynamica's Hendrik-Jan Krommert managed to reach the ball for a save. Barry Zalm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Văduvescu having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC Steaua Pildesti's zone, Barry Zalm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marian Văduvescu came out of the goal and Barry Zalm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flashdynamica were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Steaua Pildesti for a fine match.
