Martin Tudor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aloyzas Valys in the 22nd minute of play. Karol Czempa took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Svajūnas Ričkus. Svajūnas Ričkus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Progresul Pitesti's Liviu Cezar got a free kick in the 29th minute. The Moose Knuckles fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Svajūnas Ričkus should have stopped the shot. Moose Knuckles's Benjaminas Duseika was substituted for Venancio Nardo. Moose Knuckles's Daugirdas Gaižauskas was substituted for Virgilijus Nenortas. Martin Tudor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdemaras Vainoras in the 80th minute of the match.
