Memphis Grizzlies's Grant Andrews managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nurtekin Özguc in the 9 minute of the game. Couto Mixto F.C.'s Christopher Langford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Carballeira in the 9th minute of play. The supporters of Couto Mixto F.C. booed when Memphis Grizzlies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinicio Carballeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabri Veiga made in the 14th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gabri Veiga immediately put the ball in play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vinicio Carballeira in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christopher Langford prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd minute, Gabriel-Omar Bati got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vinicio Carballeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Christopher Langford made a huge save. Couto Mixto F.C.'s Gabri Veiga quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Grant Andrews, made in the 26th minute of the game. Donald Fenwick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel-Omar Bati in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Carballeira in the 30th minute of play forced Couto Mixto F.C.'s goalkeeper Christopher Langford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Gabriel-Omar Bati had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Donald Fenwick. Memphis Grizzlies's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabriel-Omar Bati was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Gabri Veiga made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Memphis Grizzlies's Maksymilian Trzemzalski. A collision led to Couto Mixto F.C. getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Gabri Veiga hit a great ball. If Vinicio Carballeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 46 minutes into the match, Couto Mixto F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Vinicio Carballeira came free, but Christopher Langford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Couto Mixto F.C.'s Christopher Langford got control of the ball when Vinicio Carballeira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Couto Mixto F.C.'s Christopher Langford proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Couto Mixto F.C. from getting a goal against them. After the first half Couto Mixto F.C. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vinicio Carballeira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vinicio Carballeira took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christopher Langford. Christopher Langford dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Couto Mixto F.C.'s Carlos Alberto Leite was substituted for Natalio Telo. Couto Mixto F.C.'s Eneko Quesada was substituted for Perfecto Rodríguez. Memphis Grizzlies made a substitution. Nicky Sansom replaced Grant Andrews. 74 minutes into the match, Couto Mixto F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ty Hislop came free, but Christopher Langford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Ty Hislop left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. In the 95th minute, Stuart Banks ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christopher Langford was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. When the referee ended the match the Memphis Grizzlies players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
