An unexpectedly hard shot by Francesco Figueroa in the 14th minute of play forced Limus Nunggal's goalkeeper Mandra Suherman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jannes Ruttens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tantan Sundoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tantan Sundoro might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jannes Ruttens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tantan Sundoro ran back to his position shaking his head. 18 minutes into the match, C. A. Pipon Pipon's goal looked a bit too open when Tantan Sundoro came free, but Jannes Ruttens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Tantan Sundoro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jannes Ruttens was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Pipon Pipon's zone, Tantan Sundoro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jannes Ruttens came out of the goal and Tantan Sundoro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicky Bryson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Mandra Suherman made a huge save. Mandra Suherman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francesco Figueroa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tantan Sundoro in the 40th minute of play forced C. A. Pipon Pipon's goalkeeper Jannes Ruttens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jannes Ruttens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tantan Sundoro's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute, Krzysztof Soliwoda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicky Bryson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francesco Figueroa charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francesco Figueroa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, C. A. Pipon Pipon's Francesco Figueroa got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half Limus Nunggal were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicky Bryson was the one to do the kick off. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Jannes Ruttens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Pipon Pipon from getting a goal against them. Mandra Suherman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francesco Figueroa in the 55th minute of the match. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Malcolm McIntosh was substituted for Francesco Figueroa. Benito Morin made in the 58th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jose José immediately put the ball in play. In the 61st minute of the match Limus Nunggal got a corner. C. A. Pipon Pipon's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marwal Kartiwa ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Limus Nunggal's Hans Hartono getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 66th match minute, C. A. Pipon Pipon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benito Morin to maneuver through the defense. After 78 minutes Limus Nunggal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Al Whatley who took care of the corner kick. 81 minutes into the match, C. A. Pipon Pipon's goal looked a bit too open when Endi Harmoko came free, but Jannes Ruttens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th match minute, Limus Nunggal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kadek Suhastra to maneuver through the defense.
