An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Havier in the 3rd minute of play forced Deportivo Galicia's goalkeeper Ximenez Caneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Oscar Havier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ximenez Caneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Havier in the 5th minute of the match. Oscar Havier took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ximenez Caneiro. Ximenez Caneiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Oscar Havier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ximenez Caneiro was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Вежен's goalkeeper Van Halen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Van Halen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Oscar Havier might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ximenez Caneiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oscar Havier ran back to his position shaking his head. 47 minutes into the match, Deportivo Galicia's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Havier came free, but Ximenez Caneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Ximenez Caneiro was a little too slow when Oscar Havier got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Galicia's goalkeeper Ximenez Caneiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Yves Passot notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Вежен's Van Halen. Van Halen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Deportivo Galicia's Xacintu Magadan was substituted for Yves Passot. Martyn Efremov ran back to his position shaking his head. Ximenez Caneiro made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Oscar Havier sent off a good shot on target.
