Aaron Glanselius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samy Froidefond, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 21 minutes in the game Vergil Van Dijk did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to İrfan Sancar. With a little luck, AYAZAĞA FK's Aşık Tunçdağ got control of the ball when Henrik Möllgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Henrik Möllgren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Aşık Tunçdağ was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to AYAZAĞA FK getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. İrfan Sancar hit a great ball. After some careless play in the AYAZAĞA FK defense, Henrik Möllgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aşık Tunçdağ. The AYAZAĞA FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aşık Tunçdağ should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

AYAZAĞA FK made a substitution. Leszek Kornasiewicz replaced Samy Froidefond. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Seyfettin Onursoy was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Leszek Kornasiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Glanselius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, AYAZAĞA FK's Vergil Van Dijk got a free kick in the 56th minute. Aaron Glanselius was a little too slow when Leszek Kornasiewicz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 2-1. 65 minutes into the game, Seyfettin Onursoy recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aaron Glanselius. Seyfettin Onursoy showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Aşık Tunçdağ took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrik Möllgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game was made by Vergil Van Dijk with Halit Koralp as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 86 minutes into the match, Henrik Möllgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aşık Tunçdağ. AYAZAĞA FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henrik Möllgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. 高城竞 hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Aaron Glanselius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Seyfettin Onursoy in the 98th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SSC Ambrosini had won after a very even match.
