Spectators: 435 (Terracing: 327, Seating: 100, VIP seats: 8) Velez Sarsfield's Augusto Cordario started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Augusto Cordario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moise Latarețu having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Cordario got free with Moise Latarețu in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 6 played minutes Brown de Adrogue got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Arias. Moise Latarețu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Cordario in the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Velez Sarsfield's Augusto Cordario dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Alejandro Neron might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erwin Huygens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alejandro Neron ran back to his position shaking his head. Moise Latarețu was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Augusto Cordario capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Augusto Cordario really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 27th minute Alejandro Neron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erwin Huygens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augusto Cordario blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Moise Latarețu having to make a save. 29 minutes into the match, Brown de Adrogue's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Cordario came free, but Moise Latarețu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moise Latarețu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augusto Cordario's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Augusto Cordario blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Moise Latarețu having to make a save. Brown de Adrogue's Moise Latarețu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Cordario in the 34th minute of play. In the 40th minute of the match, Augusto Cordario tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Moise Latarețu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Erwin Huygens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Neron in the 43rd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st minute, Alejandro Neron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Velez Sarsfield booed when Brown de Adrogue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Didi Peixoto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Augusto Cordario notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Brown de Adrogue's Moise Latarețu. Moise Latarețu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Augusto Cordario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But to his dismay, Augusto Cordario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Velez Sarsfield made a substitution. Ando Averin replaced Marcos Pacifico. Velez Sarsfield's Javier Pinola was substituted for Filomeno Montrell. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Augusto Cordario sped through Brown de Adrogue's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Moise Latarețu. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Cordario in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Moise Latarețu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Augusto Cordario put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Moise Latarețu. Velez Sarsfield's Leandro Berti was substituted for Ignacio Berenguer. After 91st play minutes Augusto Cordario shot 8-0, a short shot which went by Moise Latarețu and just under the crossbar into goal.

For all the effort they put into the match, the Brown de Adrogue players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Velez Sarsfield.
