Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rigoberto Odilon started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Rufino AFC's Lorenzo Jakobe got control of the ball when Wilfredo Henríguez tried to sneak it across the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Rufino AFC's goalkeeper Lorenzo Jakobe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adama Traoré. Rufino AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Adama Traoré scored to the left of an out of position Lorenzo Jakobe, making the score, 1-0. GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Rufino AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adama Traoré took the corner. A hard shot 13 in the game by Adama Traoré from a close distance when the talented Lorenzo Jakobe managed to make a qualified save. Rufino AFC's players were relieved. Adama Traoré had several of the Rufino AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 13 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Lorenzo Jakobe as he didn't even see the shot coming. Adama Traorés short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Lorenzo Jakobe to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 19th minute Domingos Lamberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thanasis Papadimitriou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tonni Bynge got free with Lorenzo Jakobe in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s Thanasis Papadimitriou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Odilon in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Rufino AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Adama Traoré came free, but Lorenzo Jakobe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanasis Papadimitriou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Odilon in the 35th minute of play. Rufino AFC's Lorenzo Jakobe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adama Traoré in the 36th minute of play. Adama Traoré sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 39thth minute of the game Adama Traoré who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rufino AFC's Lorenzo Jakobe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Tolga Tara hit a great ball. Rigoberto Odilon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thanasis Papadimitriou having to interfere. Lorenzo Jakobe made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Adama Traoré sent off a good shot on target. After 47 played minutes Rufino AFC got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Lamberto. GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. made a substitution. Hermes Zambrano replaced Heraclides Quirós. Domingos Lamberto hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adama Traoré stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enrique Treviño during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 62nd minute Tonni Bynge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Jakobe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lorenzo Jakobe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adama Traoré, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adama Traoré struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Lorenzo Jakobe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.. After a defensive mix-up in GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s zone, Rigoberto Odilon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thanasis Papadimitriou came out of the goal and Rigoberto Odilon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Adama Traoré put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lorenzo Jakobe. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emilio Iturri during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Rufino AFC's Emilio Iturri got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Rufino AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Henríguez came free, but Lorenzo Jakobe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was Adama Traoré who took care of the corner kick. The corner led GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s Adama Traoré to fire away a dangerous shot which Lorenzo Jakobe despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Adama Traoré might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lorenzo Jakobe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adama Traoré ran back to his position shaking his head. 86 minutes into the match, Alberto Jaen notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Rufino AFC's Lorenzo Jakobe. Lorenzo Jakobe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanasis Papadimitriou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Lamberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s Adama Traoré in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rufino AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
