Cordeiro Gutierrez didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Federico Urtats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Álvaro Perpiñán made an important save on a dangerous shot by Federico Urtats in the 9th minute. Álvaro Perpiñán was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Oscar Ruggeri. In the 13th minute, Joel Ferrer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 16 minutes, Cordeiro Gutierrez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting Burgas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cordeiro Gutierrez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Sporting Burgas's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Montiel came free, but Álvaro Perpiñán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Álvaro Perpiñán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Montiel in the 22nd minute of play. Honorato Aznaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vintilă Ghițulescu in the 27th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Ke Xiong Chen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Aznaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cordeiro Gutierrez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 37 minutes into the match, Sporting Burgas's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Montiel came free, but Álvaro Perpiñán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Sporting Burgas's goalkeeper Álvaro Perpiñán had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matías Kranevitter. Álvaro Perpiñán made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Federico Urtats sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Sporting Burgas were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Federico Urtats to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Gonzalo Montiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Perpiñán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonzalo Montiel in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Álvaro Perpiñán saved Sporting Burgas from getting behind. After a rather tough play, DirectorVisual.com's Leopoldo Luque got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 70th minute Gonzalo Montiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Perpiñán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Álvaro Perpiñán took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Montiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Álvaro Perpiñán showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matías Kranevitter, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. DirectorVisual.com's Honorato Aznaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save DirectorVisual.com from getting a goal against them. Honorato Aznaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Davor Šuker went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. DirectorVisual.com's Honorato Aznaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davor Šuker in the 83rd minute of play. With a little luck, DirectorVisual.com's Honorato Aznaro got control of the ball when Cordeiro Gutierrez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sporting Burgas's Álvaro Perpiñán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matías Kranevitter in the 94th minute of play. The DirectorVisual.com supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sporting Burgas's performance. The match ended with a win for Sporting Burgas.
