After having played for 7 minutes, Adolfo Ubarna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coghlan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Ubarna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bonifacio Emenon in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gökçek Yalavaç, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR booed when Coghlan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Ubarna didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Ahmet Hayri Kağan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The crowd rose to their feet as Ramond Abila kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gökçek Yalavaç. That made the score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. Casimiro Txilar made in the 28th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ramond Abila however managed to control. Serkan Günden hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Coghlan FC's Ahmet Bülent Özgur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Başaran Akın in the 43rd minute of play. Ahmet Bülent Özgur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Başaran Akın's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. In the 47th match minute, ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şehzade Kutel to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Şehzade Kutel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ahmet Bülent Özgur firmly grabbed it by the left post. ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Coghlan FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gürhan Demirel took the corner. Coghlan FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
