Felix Kirschbaum did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Ahmet Bülent Özgur 13 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benjamin Cordeal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Benjamin Cordeal came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Coghlan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Cordeal couldn't finish the play. After 96 minutes of play, Coghlan FC's Benjamin Cordeal made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugenio Oliverios was left in no man's land by his defense there! Coghlan FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
