After some careless play in the Sport Club Mavericks defense, Celsinho da Silveira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rogério Cean. The Sport Club Mavericks fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rogério Cean should have stopped the shot. Rogério Cean was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Celsinho da Silveira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Celsinho da Silveira really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Celsinho da Silveira sped through Sport Club Mavericks's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rogério Cean.
