Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dino Simeoni in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dennis Berg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dennis Berg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Scutti in the 43rd minute. A collision led to Borgo Doria F.C. getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Rolando Obano hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alberto Scutti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Borgo Doria F.C.'s Corrado Spitaleri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixten Fridlund in the 64th minute of play.
