Atlético Bucaramanga's Patrik Øskan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wit Lampa in the 9th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Navigators's goal looked a bit too open when Xacintu Ribeiro came free, but Yavuz Bülent Akbatu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Derviş Erva got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Patrik Øskan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The crowd rose to their feet as Derviş Erva kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Patrik Øskan. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Yu Ke Huis short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Patrik Øskan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Wit Lampa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Patrik Øskan made a huge save. In the 36th minute of the game Derviş Erva made a throw-in which Yu Ke Hui played forward. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yu Ke Hui got free with Patrik Øskan in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 39 minutes of play, Atlético Bucaramanga's Xacintu Ribeiro made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yavuz Bülent Akbatu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Xacintu Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Yavuz Bülent Akbatu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xacintu Ribeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Navigators made a substitution. Özbek Tokur replaced Bittor Leyva. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

If Wit Lampa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 95 played minutes Navigators got a freekick which was hit by Bass Duchateau. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hernando Harroyo got free with Yavuz Bülent Akbatu in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Atlético Bucaramanga's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
