Bernard Kolano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petruț Arapașu having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Kolano in the 10th minute of play forced ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s goalkeeper Petruț Arapașu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s goal looked a bit too open when Alex Volponi came free, but Petruț Arapașu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Who Ate All Depay's Tor-Egil Gjertsen got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roel Ravenbergen in the 31st minute of play forced ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s goalkeeper Petruț Arapașu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tor-Egil Gjertsen was slow to take the kick. During this time Who Ate All Depay's players had a chance to rest. Who Ate All Depay's Tor-Egil Gjertsen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Petruț Arapașu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 40th minute, Roel Ravenbergen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Petruț Arapașu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tor-Egil Gjertsen in the 42nd minute of play. In the 47thth minute of the game Bernard Kolano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Petruț Arapașu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marin Dindelegan to make the kick off. Neninho Vicioso was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 53 minutes into the match. 52 minutes into the game, one of Who Ate All Depay:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marin Dindelegan got free with Falco Pruischer in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tor-Egil Gjertsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petruț Arapașu having to interfere. Petruț Arapașu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Volponi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petruț Arapașu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roel Ravenbergen in the 70th minute of play. Who Ate All Depay's Falco Pruischer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Who Ate All Depay from getting a goal against them. Who Ate All Depay made a substitution. Luke Clist replaced Roel Ravenbergen. Petruț Arapașu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luke Clist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, Marc Ado notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Petruț Arapașu. Petruț Arapașu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 91st match minute, ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Tărâţă to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, Who Ate All Depay's Tor-Egil Gjertsen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petruț Arapașu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A hard shot 94 in the game by Marin Dindelegan from a close distance when the talented Falco Pruischer managed to make a qualified save. Who Ate All Depay's players were relieved. In the 96th minute, Alex Volponi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Who Ate All Depay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Who Ate All Depay made a substitution. Luuk de Boer replaced Bernard Kolano. When the referee ended the match the Who Ate All Depay players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
