The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Emil Wincek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DS ACADEMY TEAM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Kyle Robinson made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Matxin Maliaño sent off a good shot on target. Apolo Chica stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emil Wincek's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. After 14 played minutes DS ACADEMY TEAM got a freekick which was hit by Serafim Carioca. Curcio Caldevila kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, La Vieja Guardia Jrs's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Wincek came free, but Apolo Chica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of La Vieja Guardia Jrs booed when DS ACADEMY TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Jurăscu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Apolo Chica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Wincek, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelijus Rimeika in the 36th minute of play forced DS ACADEMY TEAM's goalkeeper Kyle Robinson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute of the match La Vieja Guardia Jrs got a corner. DS ACADEMY TEAM's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Curcio Caldevila ran over to the corner to take the kick. La Vieja Guardia Jrs's Curcio Caldevila was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kyle Robinson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. La Vieja Guardia Jrs's Apolo Chica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Wincek in the 39th minute of play. Apolo Chica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Wincek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Vieja Guardia Jrs's Guillerme Escarraz pulled a muscle in his leg after 45 minutes and couldn't finish the game. La Vieja Guardia Jrs's Inigo Guceño was substituted for Guillerme Escarraz. After a rather tough play, DS ACADEMY TEAM's Maciej Ciemiega got a free kick in the 46th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emil Wincek to make the kick off. Apolo Chica came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by DS ACADEMY TEAM's Emil Wincek. But to his dismay, Emil Wincek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Apolo Chica didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emil Wincek went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. An unexpected shot in the 64th minute by Serafim Carioca got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matxin Maliaño in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kyle Robinson saved DS ACADEMY TEAM from getting behind. After 70 minutes of play, DS ACADEMY TEAM's Emil Wincek made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Apolo Chica was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Matxin Maliaño in the 75th minute of play forced DS ACADEMY TEAM's goalkeeper Kyle Robinson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emil Wincek scored 0-6 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Apolo Chica, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Apolo Chica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Wincek, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. La Vieja Guardia Jrs's Apolo Chica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Wincek in the 95th minute of play. DS ACADEMY TEAM's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
