In the 15th minute of the match, Nunez Rodas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Iain Lambie was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Nunez Rodas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute Wayne Pollard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lohitzun Reigosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inverness Warriors's Iain Lambie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Inverness Warriors from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the match, Inverness Warriors's goal looked a bit too open when Marko Skotti came free, but Iain Lambie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Wayne Pollard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lohitzun Reigosa. Birra Bizarra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wayne Pollard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 25 played minutes Birra Bizarra got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Mariategui. 27 minutes into the match, Inverness Warriors's goal looked a bit too open when Marko Skotti came free, but Iain Lambie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Inverness Warriors booed when Birra Bizarra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Aeta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lohitzun Reigosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neil Howison, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Matt Corrie hit a great ball. Marko Skotti did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Iain Lambie 43 minutes into the match. In the 45th match minute, Inverness Warriors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wayne Pollard to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The wind increased when Marko Skotti made the kick off in the second half. Lohitzun Reigosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Finlay Gifford in the 53rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Marko Skotti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Birra Bizarra's supporters rose to their feet, but Marko Skotti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iain Lambie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Finlay Gifford charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Finlay Gifford the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th match minute, Inverness Warriors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Finlay Gifford to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute Tommy Binnie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lohitzun Reigosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Birra Bizarra's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
