The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armando Parente helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Terceirense F.C. getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Armando Parente hit a great ball. In the 10th match minute, Mete y Raspa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atarratze Maeztu to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Mete y Raspa FC defense, Anselmo Baldaia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bert Pöggeler. The Mete y Raspa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bert Pöggeler should have stopped the shot. Urtun Almirall kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After 19 minutes Mete y Raspa FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adalberto Pegado who took care of the corner kick. In the 26th minute, Anselmo Baldaia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Terceirense F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zarco Sarmento during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anselmo Baldaia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bert Pöggeler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute of the match Terceirense F.C. got a corner. Mete y Raspa FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adalberto Pegado ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lehoi Payno might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexandrino Amado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lehoi Payno ran back to his position shaking his head. After 38 played minutes Mete y Raspa FC got a freekick which was hit by Atarratze Maeztu. With a little luck, Mete y Raspa FC's Bert Pöggeler got control of the ball when Anselmo Baldaia tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anselmo Baldaia to make the kick off. Mete y Raspa FC's Bert Pöggeler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Baldaia in the 61st minute of play. In the 69th minute Norino Gundin suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Anselmo Baldaia fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Terceirense F.C.'s protests and gave Anselmo Baldaia a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Terceirense F.C. getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Bert Pöggeler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Terceirense F.C.'s Olívio Gouveia was substituted for Nicolas Guerreiro. The corner ended in Adalberto Pegado almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mete y Raspa FC's Bert Pöggeler did a great save. Viriato Semedo hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Terceirense F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
