When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Manuel Muntian sped through União Verde FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Valdir Pérez. After 46 minutes, Laércio Damião mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the União Verde FC and the FC Dunarea Galati players grew even worse after the yellow card.
