Abdul Majid Awat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Lencastre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Rodolfo Lencastre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdul Majid Awat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Amílcar Campos threw the ball into play from the sideline. Atletic Club Araucaria's Rodrigo Meléndez quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 30th minute, Eriberto Haimar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atletic Club Araucaria's Abdul Majid Awat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radul Tishev in the 32nd minute of play. Gayle Leto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Duarte Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duarte Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Heli, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 45th minute Golo Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdul Majid Awat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdul Majid Awat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radul Tishev in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodolfo Lencastre to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulisses Duarte to maneuver through the defense. When Gayle Leto fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletic Club Araucaria's protests and gave Gayle Leto a yellow card for diving instead. Duarte Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Cesaro in the 56th minute of the match. Radul Tishev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Abdul Majid Awat made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Atletic Club Araucaria's Lino Heli got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Filinto Ferro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Abdul Majid Awat made a huge save. Gayle Leto hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Ulisses Duarte shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 66th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Abdul Majid Awat but with some difficulty. In the 71st minute of the match, Rodolfo Lencastre got a very nice opportunity to score, but Abdul Majid Awat was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Pablo Vegetti scored 0-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abdul Majid Awat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Pablo Vegetti could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Abdul Majid Awat however easily saved by the left post. After taking down the ball on Atletic Club Araucaria's corner Gayle Leto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Duarte Duarte quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Rodolfo Lencastre could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which Abdul Majid Awat however easily saved by the left post. Lino Heli struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Duarte Duarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletic Club Araucaria. In the 89th minute, Amílcar Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the match, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Cesaro came free, but Duarte Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pablo Vegetti got free with Abdul Majid Awat in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 95 minutes Atletic Club Araucaria's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Filinto Ferro who took care of the corner kick. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Filinto Ferro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Abdul Majid Awat in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
