The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kim Hendrickx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joško Van Landschoot, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Joško Van Landschoot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joško Van Landschoot in the 11th minute of play forced KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Kim Hendrickx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Ali Dem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Hendrickx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute Willem-Alexander Vercauteren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Hendrickx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Hendrickx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Dem in the 26th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Ali Dem took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Ricardo Hendrickx to make any attempt to save it. After 36 played minutes Twierdza Osowiec got a freekick which was hit by Billy Hendrickx. In the 38th minute of the match, Francis Van Geel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ricardo Hendrickx was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Joško Van Landschoot blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kim Hendrickx having to make a save. Kim Hendrickx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joško Van Landschoot in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Dem in the 45th minute of play forced Twierdza Osowiec's goalkeeper Ricardo Hendrickx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Hendrickx was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Ali Dem capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ali Dem really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. After a rather tough play, Twierdza Osowiec's Joško Van Landschoot got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The wind increased when Ali Dem made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to KFC Cromvelde getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt hit a great ball. Twierdza Osowiec's Ricardo Hendrickx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willem-Alexander Vercauteren in the 55th minute of play. Ricardo Hendrickx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willem-Alexander Vercauteren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Hendrickx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Joško Van Landschoot came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Twierdza Osowiec fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joško Van Landschoot couldn't finish the play. 72 minutes into the match, Twierdza Osowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Willem-Alexander Vercauteren came free, but Ricardo Hendrickx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kim Hendrickx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joško Van Landschoot, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ricardo Hendrickx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joppe Wortelers made in the 84th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Sam Son. Joško Van Landschoot's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kim Hendrickx read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Twierdza Osowiec's Ricardo Hendrickx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francis Van Geel in the 96th minute of play. Ricardo Hendrickx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francis Van Geel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

For all the effort they put into the match, the Twierdza Osowiec players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for KFC Cromvelde.
